Frank Giustra is a Canadian entrepreneur and philanthropist and the Founder and CEO of the Fiore Group, a private investment and advisory firm that brings together leaders in mining, capital markets, and corporate management to incubate and scale innovative small-cap companies with a disciplined, long-term approach to value creation. Recognized for establishing Lionsgate Entertainment, Mr. Giustra has built a distinguished career in investment banking and natural resource finance, founding and leading numerous successful public companies.
Beyond business, he is deeply engaged in philanthropy through The Giustra Foundation, a Canadian charity that supports initiatives focused on women and children, education, and refugee resettlement. Outside of Canada, the Giustra International Foundation supports organizations in conflict resolution and foreign policy. In 2007, he launched Acceso, a social business builder that addresses global poverty through entrepreneurial solutions, particularly in agribusinesses in Colombia, El Salvador, and Haiti.
He serves as a Board member and past-chair of the International Crisis Group and is a recipient of the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame, Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia.
Gordon Keep has extensive business experience in investment banking and creating public natural resource companies. Mr. Keep currently is CEO of Fiore Management & Advisory Corp., a private financial advisory firm. He also serves as an officer and/or director for several natural resource companies. From January 2001 to July 2007, Mr. Keep was Managing Director of Corporate Finance at Endeavour Financial Corporation, September 1997 until March 2004, he was Senior Vice President and a director of Lions Gate Entertainment Corp., and from April 1987 until October 1997, he was Vice President, Corporate Finance in the Natural Resource group of Yorkton Securities Inc. He obtained his B.Sc. in Geological Science from Queen’s University in 1979 and his Master’s of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia in 1983 and is a Professional Geologist in the province of British Columbia.
Mr. Khunkhun has over 20 years of experience in the capital markets, mineral exploration, and development sector with a focus on enhancing shareholder value. He has served in a variety of strategic roles, including CEO, Director, and Executive Chairman. Mr. Khunkhun has been instrumental in creating awareness for undervalued companies, including explorers, developers, and producers.
Mr. Khunkhun’s experience in incubating and growing companies through capital raises, acquisitions, and spinouts, as well as long-standing relationships with an extensive global network of High-Net-Worth investors, private equity and institutional investors, analysts, brokers, and investment bankers, have been a valuable asset to growing mining companies.
Mr. Khunkhun is a Director of GoldX2 & Gladiator Metals. Shawn is also an advisor to West Red Lake, Nations Royalty & NexGold and founder of Argenta Silver.
Mr. Khunkhun has facilitated over $3B in capital raises. He is currently CEO & Director of Dolly Varden Silver, where he has grown the market cap from $20M to $600M, raising over $185M in equity.
Ryan is a mining executive and Professional Engineer with over 15 years of experience across engineering, operations, finance, M&A, and company building.
He is the Co-Founder and President of Fuse Advisors, a 45+ person consultancy recently acquired by SLR Consulting, and a Partner at the Fiore Group where he helps create and grow new mining ventures. He has co-founded multiple public and private companies including Selkirk Copper, West Red Lake Gold Mines, and Nations Royalty, and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Cambria Gold Mines following a major restructuring and financing.
Ryan has also worked closely with Indigenous governments on investment partnerships and ownership transactions, including the historic acquisition of the Minto Mine by the Selkirk First Nation. He holds a B.A.Sc. in Mining & Mineral Process Engineering from UBC and is a licensed P.Eng.
Rob is an accomplished geologist, executive and third-generation miner from Stewart, BC. He started his career as a mill operator at the Premier Mine for Westmin Resources in 1991 and as a junior geologist for Lac Minerals at the Red Mountain Project from 1992-1994. He has extensive experience in gold projects throughout North America including multiple discoveries and Company sales. He was previously CEO of IDM Mining, who advanced the Red Mountain Project through resource expansion, feasibility and receipt of EA and EIS approvals and was acquired by Ascot in 2019. Rob is a partner in the Fiore Group and co-founder with the Nisga’a Nation of Nations Royalty Corp, with Selkirk First Nation of Selkirk Copper Mines and West Red Lake Gold Mines. He is a Director of Nations Royalty, Dolly Varden Silver and Nexgold Mining, Rob is an advisor to several additional junior Companies and Director of the Britannia Mine Museum. He has a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of British Columbia and Masters in Mineral Exploration from Queens University.
With over 15 years at the Fiore Group, Lara Dauphinee serves as Managing Director of Fiore Financial Corporation, a private company with a diversified portfolio of investments and companies across multiple sectors. She is Chair of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Gold British Columbia chapter and Chair of the CKNW Kids’ Fund, and serves as director of YYOGA and The Giustra Foundation. Ms. Dauphinee is deeply committed to advancing business leadership and driving community impact initiatives. From 2001 to 2011, she served as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Premier of British Columbia. She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and has completed the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
